Acceptable Use Policy

1.Nothing unlawful or harmful

Do not use Accentor to produce, distribute or facilitate:

• Sexual content involving minors, or any sexualised depiction of a minor, in any form. This is an immediate, unappealable termination.
• Content that sexually exploits or abuses any person, or intimate imagery of a real person created or shared without their consent.
• Harassment, threats, stalking, or targeted abuse of a person or group.
• Incitement to violence, terrorism, or content that promotes or celebrates it.
• Instructions that provide meaningful assistance in building weapons — biological, chemical, radiological, nuclear or conventional — or in carrying out an attack.
• Malware, ransomware, exploit kits, credential-stuffing tooling, or anything designed to gain unauthorised access to a system.
• Content that infringes copyright, trademark or other rights you do not hold.

2.No deception about people or provenance

Accentor generates convincing media. That capability carries specific obligations:

• Do not impersonate a real person — their face, voice or likeness — without their documented permission. This applies especially to lip-sync, voice cloning and cameo video.
• Do not impersonate an organisation or present generated material as an official communication from one.
• Do not create fabricated records — receipts, invoices, credentials, test results, reviews, news reports, or evidence — presented as genuine.
• Do not use generated media to defraud, to manipulate an election, or to deceive someone into a financial decision.
• Disclose that content is AI-generated where a reasonable person would expect to know, and where the law requires it.

3.High-stakes advice

Do not present Accentor output as professional legal, medical, financial, or safety-critical advice without a qualified human reviewing it. The legal and education capabilities are drafting tools for professionals — they do not replace a lawyer or an educator, and their citation and standards checks reduce error rather than eliminate it.

4.Don't attack the platform

• No attempting to access another tenant’s data, or to escalate your own privileges.
• No probing, load-testing or scanning our infrastructure or the model providers behind it without written permission. Security research reported under our vulnerability policy is welcome and is not covered by this prohibition.
• No circumventing usage allowances, quality gates or safety filters — including by splitting a prohibited job into innocuous-looking parts.
• No reselling raw model access, or using Accentor principally as a pass-through to the underlying providers.
• No automated account creation, and no sharing one seat among multiple people to avoid buying seats.

5.Provider policies apply too

Jobs are routed to external model providers, each with its own acceptable-use terms. Your use must comply with the policies of the provider that runs your job, and a provider may refuse or terminate work under its own rules. The current provider list is at Subprocessors.

6.How we enforce this

We do not review your work as a matter of course. We act on reports, on provider notifications, and on signals that surface through ordinary operation.

What we may do

• Refuse or halt a specific job.
• Ask you to explain or remediate, where the situation allows it.
• Suspend a capability, or the workspace.
• Terminate the account and, where the law requires, report it.

We aim to be proportionate, and to warn first where nobody is being harmed. For child sexual abuse material, credible threats to life, and active attacks on the platform, we act immediately and without notice.
